Where is the event?
The Tasmanian Wine Festival is held at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in Hobart, Tasmania.
Access to the event is via the main gates on Lower Domain Road. There is no entry or parking at the bottom carpark on the Domain Highway. -
When is the event?
The Tasmanian Wine Festival is held annually in summer. The event is returning on Feb 7 & 8, 2026.

How do I get there?
Entry to the event is through the Main Gates of the Botanical Gardens only, which is located on Lower Domain Road.
There is limited parking available on Lower Domain Road (near the Main Entrance of the Botanical Gardens), as well as a few car parks surrounding the Gardens. We encourage patrons to get dropped off or use public transportation including Taxis and rideshare vehicles.
The bottom carpark on the Domain Highway is closed off for the public. There is no parking or entry via this gate. -

The Tasmanian Wine Festival is a ticketed event. Tickets are on sale in October.

- Is this an accessible event?
The Tasmanian Wine Festival strives to be a fully inclusive and accessible event, however there are some limitations due to the nature of the venue we operate in.

Yes. The Tasmanian Wine Festival accepts valid Companion Cards. Companion Card holders are required to contact the festival prior to the event: info@taswinefest.com.au

- What is included in a ticket?
- Access to over 45 of Tasmania's best vineyards in one location
- A curated selection of food to suit anyones taste
- Live music from great bands & artists
- Premium reuseable wine tumbler
More information relating to what is included in a ticket will be released in October.- What can I bring to the event?
What can you bring:- Low lying chairs - for use at the rear of the stage viewing area only. Festival staff may request chairs be moved if they impede the view of others
- Empty Reuseable Water Bottles. There are free water refill stations available
- Sun screen, a hat and warm clothing for the evening
What can't you bring:
- Food & Alcohol. This is a strictly no BYO event
- Animals, with the exception of assistance animals
- Glassware. All ticket holders receive a tumbler on entry
- Weapons, fireworks or illicit substances
- Professional film equipment
- Speakers
- Marketing materials of any kind

- What wines will be available?
The Tasmanian Wine Festival has a wide range of red, white and sparkling wine from all around the state, including both Tasmanian staples and varietals you may not know of.
In addition to some great Tassie wines, a range of summer cocktails, craft beers, cider, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.- Is this an all ages event?
The Tasmanian Wine Festival operates sessions that are both Licensed All Ages and 18+.
- The Saturday Afternoon Session is Licensed All Ages
- The Saturday Evening Session is 18+
- The Sunday Session is Licensed All Ages
Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian above the age of 25.
Children aged between 5-17 years must hold a ticket to gain entry. Under 5s do not require a ticket.- Is there food available?
Yes. The Tasmanian Wine Festival a curated range of food available, also including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options. Our line up releases in October.
- Are there beverages available other than wine?
The Tasmanian Wine Festival has a wide variety of beverages available from craft beers,ciders, spirits and summer cocktails. This is in addition to a wide range of non alcoholic options.

- Are there tastings?
Most vineyards at the Tasmanian Wine Festival offer tastings to patrons. Tastings can be redeemed by purchasing Tasting Tokens that are available on the day, or included with certain ticket types.

No. Vendors at the Tasmanian Wine Festival do not offer free tastings.

- How do I become a vendor?
Tasmanian vineyards and food producers are encouraged to fill out an Expression of Interest form
- Will I be photographed?
By entering the Tasmanian Wine Festival, patrons accept that they may be photographed. Recorded imagery may be used for marketing and promotional purposes.
