  • The Tasmanian Wine Festival is held at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in Hobart, Tasmania.

    Access to the event is via the main gates on Lower Domain Road.

  • The Tasmanian Wine Festival is held over four sessions during Feb 18 - 20, 2022.

    Friday Evening: 4.30pm - 10.30pm
    Saturday Afternoon: 12pm - 4.00pm
    Saturday Evening: 5.30pm - 10pm
    Sunday Afternoon 12 - 5.30pm

  • Tickets

  • There are three types of tickets to choose from, which are avaliable on the ticketing page.

    General Admission: $37
    Tasting Ticket (18+): $47
    VIP (18+): $117

    Prices Exclude Booking Fees

  • Tickets can be purchased through I Wanna Ticket, and at select cellar doors in Tasmania.

  • If there are still tickets available, these will be available for purchase.

    In 2021, multiple sessions sold out prior to the event, so pre-purchasing tickets is highly recommended.

    Tickets on the door are sold at a premium.

  • Nope, to help save paper, we prefer digital tickets! Have your tickets ready on your phone to scan.

    Purchasing a Tasting Ticket brings the benefits of a General Admission ticket, along with 4x Tasting Tokens.

    VIP Tickets are 18+

  • The Saturday Afternoon and Sunday sessions are Licensed All Ages, all other sessions are 18+.

    Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian above the age of 25.

    Children aged between 5-17 years must hold a ticket to gain entry. Under 5s are free and do not require a ticket.

    Ticket holders under the age of 18 cannot purchase a Tasting or VIP ticket.

  • Yes. We have a beautiful range of food available, also including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options.

  • A list of items that can't enter the festival will be published closer to the event.

  • We have a wide variety of beverages available from craft beers, to ciders and cocktails. This is in addition to a wide range of non alcoholic drinks.

  • The Tasmanian Wine Festival meets all current regulatory requirements to ensure that this event is COVIDSafe. A COVID-19 Safety Plan has been implemented to ensure that the festival can proceed safely.

  • Yes. Under current Public Health directives, it is a requirement that everyone attending this event is fully vaccinated against COVID-19. More information can be found at coronavirus.tas.gov.au

  • Tastings

  • Most vineyards at the Tasmanian Wine Festival offer tastings to patrons. Tastings can be redeemed by purchasing Tasting Tokens that are avalaible on the day, or included with a Tasting Ticket or VIP Ticket.

    There are no free tastings at the Tasmanian Wine Festival.

  • No. You can buy tasting tokens on the day.
