With a long family tradition, the first vines were planted on Observatory Hill’s Mt. Rumney property in 1991. Observatory Hill has become a well-known vineyard in the Coal River Valley. In 2016 the Clack family purchased the land and plan to build and expand on the foundation of the vineyard.
